Quest’s Training Centers in Apopka and Tampa provide supports and options for individuals with developmental disabilities seeking recreational opportunities as well as life-skills development activities that meet their specific needs and goals.
Customized Skill Development and Recreational Services
Adult Enrichment
We teach the life skills needed to become more independent, confident and safe in the activities of daily living, including financial, safety and pre-employment skills.
Recreation
We help clients embrace the values and benefits of participating in health and wellness activities, the arts, social skills training, community outings and volunteerism.
Socialization
We provide opportunities for group socializing events, within the training center and in the community. These experiences foster friendships and increase independence.
Therapy Services
We offer participants the opportunity to receive their physical, occupational and speech therapy on site to meet their needs while attending the training center.
Two Training Centers in Central Florida
Quest’s Training Centers (QTC) in Apopka and Tampa offer adult enrichment services as well as recreation and socializiation opportunities to meet participant’s goals. Individualized achievement plans are created with input from program participants, caregivers and QTC team members.

All program participants receive opportunities to learn the life skills necessary to function independently in their home, community and/or workplace settings.
Our programs encourage independence while providing the necessary support and structure for skill advancement.
Health & Wellness
Participants are exposed to daily shared community activities, such as art, fitness, socialization and volunteerism. These areas of community life are often limited or not available to the individuals we serve.
Socialization
Interacting with peers and the wider community is an essential part of experiencing a full life. Quest Training Centers provide abundant opportunities to socialize in a variety of settings.
Participants engage in regular off-site community outings. These excursion offer individuals the opportunity to enhance their social skills, meet new people and foster a sense of community belonging.
For individuals who may have difficulty traveling, Quest provides on-site experiences where the community comes to them! From food trucks to guest speakers, participants are offered the opportunity to engage with one another and a variety of community groups.
Quest Training Centers also offer pre-employment skills training for those looking for competitive employment within the community.
Regardless of ability, individuals align their tangible skills with their practical abilities to achieve a successful outcome.
Therapy Services
Quest Training Center facilities’ team includes certified Behavior Analysts on-site to ensure the application and principles of applied behavior analysis in the areas of skill acquisition, behavioral modification and reactive strategies for the individuals we serve.
Physical therapy, occupational therapy and speech therapy are delivered on site through participant’s contracted partner agencies.
Individuals with increased direct care needs are provided repositioning and personal care services to maintain their physical health.
Advanced personal care services are also available to individuals in areas of eating, toileting or general hygiene needs.
In our Tampa location, on-site nursing staff provide oversight and expertise to assist individuals with medical needs.
