Quest, Inc. recently celebrated Nurse’s Week in honor of the vital and tireless duties that our nurses perform day-in and day-out! We thought it the perfect time to highlight Robin Nielsen, Senior Director of Nursing at our Laurel Hill Cluster, who has been with Quest for nine years.
Robin started as a seasonal employee in 2014 and fell in love with the organization and clients. She was hired as a full-time nurse and was promoted to Assistant Director of Nursing, then to Director of Nursing, and most recently to Senior Director of Nursing. Not only is she a nurse, but the caretaker of Laurel Hill’s chickens and roosters!
“Robin exemplifies what it means to be a nurse and a leader,” says Brooke Eakins, Chief Operating Officer at Quest. “She truly cares about the wellbeing of all of our individuals and is willing to do whatever it takes for them to receive the highest quality care.”
“The company culture is like a family,” says Robin. “The way clients are cared for sets the standard for other nursing facilities.” She says leadership’s availability and support has helped her be successful within the organization.
Her advice for aspiring nurses is to never stop learning and always stay hungry for knowledge. Quest encourages employee growth and development and provides opportunities for career advancement.
Robin Nielsen is a great asset to the Quest team, and her dedication and hard work have helped her rise through the ranks to her current position inspiring other nurses and team members along the way.
