Our residents are fancying up for their close-ups! Quest, Inc.’s yearly tradition of providing quality portraits for our residents is taking place throughout our homes and the smiles are infectious.
“We have been doing holiday portraits for five years now. These pictures mean so much to our residents, staff and families,” said James Crandell, Quest’s Sr. Director of Cluster Programs. “I remember when a family member came to the holiday party and saw his daughter’s portrait in a frame on the mantle. He had tears in his eyes because she looked so beautiful. He said that he never had a picture of her as an adult, especially looking so nice.”
These touching moments are why portraits have become a staple in our homes. In typical years, families are given these portraits as gifts at our seasonal home parties. “If the families can’t come to the holiday party, we will frame, box and mail the wrapped gift to them,” said Crandell. “We always get calls from families so thankful for our annual tradition.”
This year, seasonal celebrations will be scaled down due to COVID precautions, but families will still receive these beautiful portraits for their homes. They will also be displayed prominently in each Quest home to highlight the amazing individuals we’re privileged to serve.
