Home is more than a place to live. It’s where people feel safe, make choices and build their daily routines. That belief guides Quest’s residential services. Each home is designed to support individual needs and foster dignity, independence and belonging.

What Makes a House a Home
Across all four residential models, Quest focuses on creating nurturing home environments through four key elements: personal choice, activities of daily living, community integration and dignity–centered support.
Personal choice is essential to ensuring residents have a voice in how their home operates. This often begins with personalizing their bedrooms with décor and items that reflect their interests and identities. That same sense of ownership carries into daily life, as residents choose how to spend their leisure time and attend monthly house meetings to discuss planned activities, outings and shared expectations. Ongoing training further supports their rights, independence and decision–making.
Activities of daily living form the foundation of a stable, familiar home environment. Homes are well-kept and thoughtfully organized to support essential self–care routines. Staff provide support in ways that respect each resident’s abilities and preferences, helping them participate as fully as possible in their own daily regimen. Fresh meals are prepared each day, and residents are offered choices about what they’d like to eat. Mealtimes are often family–style around the dinner table, creating natural moments of connection and conversation for those who choose to participate.
Community integration ensures residents remain connected to the world beyond Quest. Each home is located within a neighborhood where it blends naturally into the surrounding community, helping residents feel part of everyday life. Reliable transportation is key to making this possible, supporting access to medical appointments, adult day training programs, restaurants and visits with friends. These experiences reinforce that residents are valued members of the communities they live in.
Dignity–centered support shapes the way staff and residents interact. Across all forms of support, staff prioritize residents’ autonomy, privacy and personal values, helping them feel respected and valued in their own homes. Staff are approachable and casual, presenting themselves as resources for support.
