Quest Kids Academy (QKA) reached a significant milestone as it celebrated its inaugural graduating class. We recently celebrated Nate and Daniel, who have been attending QKA for over ten years. The graduation ceremony served as a proud moment for the entire QKA community and honored Nathan and Daniel’s achievements and years of hard work and perseverance.
Over the past four years, Daniel and Nate have had the fantastic opportunity to work at our umbrella company, Blossom Artisanal. Blossom employs individuals with developmental disabilities providing them with meaningful employment. Blossom sells candles, bath teas and goat’s milk soaps. This work study has been crucial to Daniel and Nate’s development, providing them with job skills and workplace readiness. Both Nate and Dan will now be transitioning into employment roles at Blossom.
Nate and Dan‘s achievements are a testament to the unwavering commitment of the academy’s educators and staff. “It is bittersweet to say goodbye to our graduates. We’ve worked with them for so long, and it is hard to imagine daily life at school without their smiling faces on campus,” said Melissa Lopez, Director at Quest Kids Academy. “I’ve had the pleasure of witnessing Dan and Nate’s growth over the last decade and it’s an incredible feeling to know that they have amazing employment opportunities thanks to Quest’s continuum of services.
Congratulations to Nate and Dan on this amazing milestone and best of luck at Blossom!
