Personal Care Standards at Camp
At Camp Thunderbird, we understand the importance of providing high-quality personal care to our guests. That’s why we have a rigorous hiring process and training programs for our staff.
Staff with less experience are required to undergo shadowing and hands-on training, which covers all aspects of personal care, from personal hygiene to changing soiled clothes to using Hoyer lifts. During the summer season, all staff receive weekly evaluations to ensure they are maintaining our high standards of personal care and other aspects of their job.
We place a strong emphasis on maintaining the dignity of each guest, no matter their level of care needs. We are committed to providing the best possible experience to our guests, and we believe that our dedication to high personal care standards is an integral part of this.
