The 9th Annual Golf Quest was an incredible success. Quest Inc.’s 2023 charity golf tournament exceeded expectations, raising over $44,000 and creating unforgettable moments on the green.
The event’s impact extended beyond the green, resonating with participants and attendees alike. The funds raised during the tournament will contribute to Quest Inc.’s programs and services, furthering the mission of helping people with developmental disabilities experience a full life.
Golf Quest took place at the Reunion Resort and Golf Club, the only destination in the world featuring courses designed by iconic PGA legends Arnold Palmer, Tom Watson and Jack Nicklaus all in the same place — attracting avid golfers, supporters, organizations and philanthropists.
Quest clients were on the green, supervising the Snack Shack, offering golfers various refreshments throughout the day and utilizing vocational skills learned at our Training Centers. This provided an inclusive atmosphere and underscored the event’s core mission of breaking barriers for individuals with developmental disabilities.
The event also featured various contests and challenges, adding an extra layer of excitement. From longest drives to closest-to-the-pin competitions, participants had the chance to showcase their skills in multiple categories to raise funds and awareness for Quest’s mission. “We are extremely grateful to everyone who sponsored or participated in this year’s tournament, making it a swinging success,”says Brittany Pilcher, Quest’s Director of Philanthropy. “Funds raised through this annual event will ensure our life changing programs and services are available to the thousands of individuals with developmental disabilities we serve each year.”
After 18 holes, participants enjoyed lunch and a presentation from Quest President and CEO, John Gill. During lunch, silent auction winners claimed various golf-related items and raffle winners took home some fantastic prizes. After lunch, tournament winners were announced and presented with their prizes.
