The pandemic presented so many challenges for our teachers and students at Quest Kids Academy this past year. Now that the 2020-2021 school year is over, we can look back in awe at everything they have overcome.
As the pandemic worsened, teachers and staff prioritized the health and safety of everyone at Quest Kids Academy. In addition to dealing with this added stress, they also worked hard to navigate moving to virtual instruction. No one knew how the students would respond to such a drastic change. Some students did very well because there were fewer distractions, while other students preferred in-person instruction. Juggling students virtually as well as in the classroom was a balancing act.
Slowly, students returned to campus and we are glad that all students will return to in-person lessons this upcoming school year. Speaking of the students, we wanted to give them a special shout out for taking on all of the challenges in stride and really showing us what resilience looks like. Wearing masks was hard, social distancing was hard, and all of the changes to their “normal” school day was hard. Despite all of those obstacles, they came in every day with smiles on their faces and a true desire to be at school. Working with these kiddos makes what we do so incredibly rewarding. They truly are a wonderful bunch of students.
“Now that the 2020-2021 school year is over, I can say whole-heartedly that I am incredibly proud of both of both our students and teachers for making it through one of the toughest years ever,” said Melissa Lopez, Director of Quest Kids Academy. “Our teachers have demonstrated a level of dedication and support of our students that is unmatched. We have an amazing team of dedicated individuals who worked day in and day out to make each day the best it could be for our students. I can always count on our staff to have a smile on their face and to give 110% to everything they do for our school. I really couldn’t ask for a better team!”
Congratulations to our QKA students, families and team members for their resilience and dedication this year!
