Rounding off our #DSPWeek, here at Quest Inc., we are proud to feature Moses Aduny.
Coming from Uganda, Moses arrived in the United States in 2008, moving to Florida in 2012. Through a recommendation from a friend, Moses joined Quest Inc. in 2014 and has worked with the organization since.
We spoke with Moses about his time at Quest and the different aspects of being a DSP that is most rewarding for him. “What’s most rewarding for me is getting to know the clients. We do our best to help them achieve their goals and help them so that they can shape their own future. So, that’s what is rewarding to me, getting to know them personally and then helping them with the care they need so they can enjoy life.”
Moses states that he has learned a lot from working with clients with developmental disabilities. “They’re normal human beings like us. They want to do things they like to do. We are here to help and assist them with doing the things they cannot do. So, that’s given me the heart to help even more.”
There are many significant aspects to being a Direct Support Professional. Here at Quest, we pride ourselves on having exceptional DSPs who hold themselves and their coworkers to the highest standards. Without DSPs like Moses, Quest could not provide top-level care for those in need.
Thank you to all our DSPs! You are truly changing lives and making a difference in the clients, families, and communities you serve.
