Quest Kids Academy (QKA) recently celebrated its second annual graduation ceremony at the Orlando Science Center. The ceremony featured a heartwarming tribute to the graduating students’ hard work and dedication and the support and guidance of their families and teachers, who played a crucial role in their success.
Heartwarming Tributes and Personalized Speeches
The room brimmed with pride as the four graduates—Anisa, Austin, Caliel and Holden—were announced. The school’s teachers delivered heartfelt speeches, echoing their pride and admiration for the graduates.
Melissa Lopez, Director of QKA, expressed gratitude to the graduates. Each student persevered through challenges with determination to reach this milestone.
“Thank you for giving it your all, for the lessons you’ve helped us learn, and for showing us the way as educators,” she said. “You have made each of us better people for knowing and having the privilege of working with you. You will forever be imprinted on our hearts and our memories.”
Anisa’s style and enthusiasm make her a vibrant and joyful presence anywhere she goes. Austin’s positivity and dedication shine through in his ability to uplift and inspire others. Caliel’s comedic talent and ability to lighten the mood bring joy and laughter to those around him. Holden’s thoughtful observations and self-advocacy demonstrate his wisdom and readiness for the next chapter in his journey.
Encouragement and Well-Wishes for the Graduates
John Gill, Quest President and CEO, delivered the address, encouraging all to focus on the present and embrace all the possibilities that await.
“As adults, we can learn so much from our graduates. We can learn from their ability to be in the moment, to be tenacious, to be passionate, to ask for help, to show joy, and to show their vulnerabilities,” he said. “We can learn to move about the world with no airs, appearances or egos, to embrace our reality and live it to the fullest.”
The graduates beamed and posed for the camera as they received their well-deserved graduation certificates and turned their tassels to signify the completion of their journey. The cheers were magnifying.
The celebration continued with a reception filled with great food, dance moves and camaraderie. Each graduate left with signed posters, each full of positive messages from family, friends and staff as a keepsake.
