The Inaugural Toast Tampa Experience was a two-night event supporting Quest, Inc., hosted at the Tampa Club in downtown Tampa on February 24 and 25 of this year. The intention of the event was to bring together community support and awareness for Quest’s services and mission and it was a resounding success, raising over $155,000! Proceeds will go towards supporting individuals with developmental disabilities in the Tampa Bay and Central Florida regions served by Quest.
Each night featured a unique selection of wines, food pairings, and opportunities for attendees to learn from wine experts while participating in a silent and live auction to support Quest, Inc.’s programs and services. We are thankful to Tenuta Torciano Winery, North Coast Wine Company and Michael David Winery for their support and involvement in the program.
“We were so excited to share the Quest mission with the people of Tampa Bay,” said Bill Merchant, Senior Director of Philanthropy in Tampa. “From the beautiful view, the ambiance, and the energy of our guests, we couldn’t have asked for more! The inaugural Toast Tampa was the elevated experience we had hoped to achieve.”
Tara Matheny, Quest Board Member and Chief Operations Officer with Franklin Development Corporation, was Toast Tampa’s committee chair and instrumental in organizing, securing sponsor support and creating a guest list that was eager to hear about Quest’s mission amid the backdrop of such an engaging wine experience.
We are grateful to Toast Tampa’s sponsors — Alltrust Insurance, SouthState Bank, Source1 Solutions, Clinique of Plastic Surgery and Tampa Bay Business & Wealth magazine — for their generous support.
Overall, Toast Tampa was a memorable event that brought together wine enthusiasts and supporters of Quest, Inc.’s mission to build communities where individuals with disabilities can achieve their goals.
We look forward to the growth of Toast Tampa and expanding opportunities throughout the region with accessibility to Quest’s services and programs.
