Lashara Thomas is a shining example of how Quest, Inc. provides opportunities for growth and advancement for its team members.
Throughout her 13-year career at Quest, Lashara has progressed from a Part-Time On Call (PTOC) employee to her current position as Director of Quest’s training center in Apopka.
Lashara’s journey began at the Piedmont Group Home before moving to the Springs Group home, where she quickly became one of the lead staff. She worked at the Orlando group homes for several years before moving to our Supported Living services, where she worked as a coach for five years.
From there, Lashara transitioned to Program Coordinator at the Training Center in Apopka and, within a few months, was promoted to Staffing Coordinator.
A year later, Lashara earned a promotion to Assistant Director. After earning her BA in Human Services with a concentration in Family and Children Services, she was promoted to the Director’s position.
Lashara feels supported by Quest and is grateful for the opportunities for growth and education the company has provided her.
When speaking to Lashara we asked what her advice for her new employees she replied saying “Always do what is right for the clients, remain ethical, operate with respect, and never give up.”.
