Tammy’s Work at Blossom
Blossom is a social venture created by Quest to provide a safe work environment with on-site support for adults and teenagers with developmental disabilities. From making candles and soap to handling orders and shrink-wrapping products, Tammy’s tasks are as diverse as they are essential to the operation of Blossom.
She works diligently from Monday through Friday, displaying commitment and enthusiasm for the opportunity to work. Her favorite part of working at Blossom is pulling orders. This task involves thorough stockroom organization and meticulous packaging to ensure all customer orders are carefully and precisely fulfilled.
Passion for Crafting Candles and Soaps
Tammy’s enthusiasm for her work extends to the hands-on experience of creating candles and soaps. Pouring candle wax into jars and crafting soap bars from melted soap blocks provide vocational skills and a creative outlet. Her favorite scent is cranberry clove due to its captivating aroma.
“I don’t know where I would be if I didn’t have Blossom in my life and couldn’t help make our products for sale,” Tammy says. “Blossom just makes me feel much happier.”
