Those We Serve – Sean

by | Feb 16, 2023 | Those We Serve

Sean has been an attendee at Quest’s Training Center in Apopka for more than three years and is thriving within his newfound independence. He works within The Enclave employment program and his responsibilities include light custodial duties throughout the building.

Sean is also an inventory specialist for the Snack Shack, a functional training shop inside the center that offer attendees and staff snacks, drinks and t-shirts for sale.

Sean’s mother learned about The Enclave program and encouraged Sean to apply. Since starting, over three years ago, Sean has been a diligent worker with the company and is enjoying the responsibility, independence and income that comes with his role.

When Sean reflects on his time at the training center, he flashes a confident smile. “I’m so proud of my job. I’m thankful for my bosses and how much they support me.”

Sean’s supervisor, Andrea, speaks very highly of Sean. Reflecting on his impact at the Training Center, she said, “I can depend on the work being done even if I’m not here.”

We’re thankful for Sean and the help he provides at the Quest Training Center and thrilled that he took a giant leap towards independence through the Enclave Program. We look forward to seeing more of his growth and progress with us at Quest.
