Quest Events Bring in Over $430K in June

by | Jul 5, 2022 | Events, Philanthropy, Wine Quest

June was a record-setting month for Quest philanthropy! The Orlando and Tampa Bay communities showed tremendous support for individuals with developmental disabilities at two of Quest’s fundraising events.

Wine Quest

In early June, Quest held its 26th Wine Quest in partnership with Southern Glazer’s Wine & Spirits, which has grown to Orlando’s premier wine tasting and dining experience. The two-night event, held at the Loews Royal Pacific Resort at Universal Orlando®, offered a Grand Tasting of 200+ fine wines and craft spirits, a Premier Dining Celebration that included a multi-course dinner and fine wine pairings, and silent and live auctions.

The event was a record-breaking success, raising $415,000 for individuals with developmental disabilities! A big thank you our event sponsors and to our hosts Jana, from XL 106.7, and Brian Shields, from WFTV, for helping to make this the most successful Wine Quest to date.

Join the Quest — Tampa

Our Join the Quest fundraising breakfasts provide an opportunity for our supporters to introduce Quest’s mission to their network. In June, Join the Quest was hosted at the Bryan Glazer Family JCC in Tampa. We’ve been serving the Tampa Bay region for nearly 40 years and were thrilled to meet so many new enthusiastic supporters and see some beautiful familiar faces. The amazing folks who attended raised over $15,000 in under an hour!

Breakfast attendees learned more about our mission, listened to the life-changing story of one of the individuals we serve and heard about our upcoming plans for the Tampa region. We were excited to announce the expansion of Quest Kids Therapy to Tampa. Quest Kids Therapy provides ABA therapy to children and teens with autism and other intellectual disabilities. Quest was one of the first providers of ABA therapy in the Orlando region and we’re thrilled to provide our expertise and support to the Tampa Bay community.

We also announced the expansion of our behavioral support services to organizational partners in the region. Behavioral health services are in high demand amongst service providers and Quest will offer our expertise to help strengthen this service need in the community.

A special thanks to the Bryan Glazer Family JCC, Gary Hartfield and Quest Board Member, Bob McKay of McKay Advertising + Activation, as well as the amazing people in attendance who helped make this event a huge success!
