Golf Quest 2022 Was a Success!
Golf Quest 2022 is in the books and we were fortunate to have so many participants and sponsors come out and show their support! Golf Quest is Quest, Inc.’s annual golf fundraiser with proceeds going towards services for children and adults with developmental disabilities. This year’s event was hosted at the beautiful Reunion Resort and Golf Club.
Despite a disruption by Hurricane Ian, Golf Quest had an excellent turnout! “With the re-schedule due to Hurricane Ian, the Reunion Resort & Golf Club staff made it a seamless transition with the new date,” said Samantha Manguiat, Quest’s Events and Volunteer Manager. “The majority of our sponsors still came out to greet our golfers and add their element of surprise and delight. And every single volunteer we had, stepped in and stepped up to make it such a special day.”
After 18 holes, participants enjoyed lunch and a presentation from Quest President and CEO, John Gill. During lunch, silent auction winners claimed an assortment of golf-related items and raffle winners took home some amazing prizes. After lunch, tournament winners were announced and presented with their prizes.
The event raised a total of $60,000!

“The tournament was a well-run event on a beautiful day,” said Andrew Hebert, Quest, Inc.’s Board Chair. “Our Foursome from SouthState Bank had a fantastic time. It was also great spending time with the golfers and learning more about their connection to Quest and our mission.”
“Golf Quest was the most enjoyable and simultaneously inspirational golf round I have ever experienced,” said Bob McKay, a Quest board member and owner of McKay Advertising + Activation.
The money raised at Golf Quest will go toward providing services for children and adults with developmental disabilities in the Orlando and Tampa regions.
