Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) are Quest’s front-line team members that work directly with our clients. They provide aid with personal care, housekeeping duties and implementing treatment plans.
Our DSPs are the lifeblood of our organization. A large portion of our DSP team have been with the company for over 10 years. Their commitment and hard work has earned Quest a reputation as one of the premier service providers for individuals with developmental disabilities in Central Florida.
Each September, organizations across the country celebrate DSP Recognition Week to show support for these selfless individuals. At Quest, we celebrate DSP week big! As always, we celebrated our DSPs with fun activities, raffles, great food and heaps of praise for all they do for those we serve. DSPs went home with designer bags, cooking supplies, tech gadgets, you name it
The most important part of DSP week for Quest is making our DSPs feel valued. The DSPs are more than just employees. They’re family that make this organization more like a community.
“It means a lot, because you know you’re getting appreciated for the hard work that you do,” said Cheryl Campbell from our training center in Tampa.
“I mean, it’s not just a joy, it’s a family. I’ve been here for the last 14 years and coming in with my individuals every single day is more than just coming to work,” said Dee Williams who works at our training center in Apopka.
“Recognition is part of the culture here at Quest,” said John Gill, President and CEO of Quest, Inc. “And there’s no group more deserving of recognition than our DSPs. They go above and beyond to make life better for the individuals we serve. They truly set the bar for service.”
Without our DSPs we would not be able to give the level of care our clients deserve. We are so grateful for the DSPs at Quest and all that they do!
