40 Years of Dedication

by | Jun 14, 2022 | Team Member Highlight

In June of 1982, Kelly Brokenborough started a new job at Quest’s Laurel Hill Intermediate Care Facility. What started as a job turned into a career of changing people’s lives for 40 years. The Quest team recently had a chance to celebrate her four decades of service with a surprise anniversary party.

“Miss Kelly,” as she’s affectionately called by her colleagues and the residents at Laurel Hill, has worn many hats through her decades of service. She now runs the kitchen for the home, preparing meals for the specialized diets each of the residents. Her positive and caring spirit is infectious in the home and she’s known as a godmother to residents and staff alike.

“Miss Kelly is the epitome of graceful service,” said John R. Gill, Quest’s President and CEO. “She leads with her heart and she leads by example. Her impact has literally affected generations of Quest residents and staff. We are really fortunate and honored to have her not just as a team member, but as a guide to all of us on how to approach life.”

In honor of this tremendous milestone, Quest has dedicated and renamed the kitchen at Lauren Hill, the “Miss Kelly Kitchen.” We thank Miss Kelly for her decades of service and for being a shining light within the Quest family!
